Some lip kits from the Hyundai Accent or Excel series will fit with a little modification.
An under chin lip from the Holden Astra series or anything with an under lip will be good too.

It's great they don't rub. I'll order the springs within the next couple of weeks. Any pix of the
install? That'd be great man!

Unfortunately, i do not have any pictures of mounting the springs. However, this is very simple thing to do. The process looks the same as replacing the regular strusts and springs. You should change the struds too, while you put the new set of springs. Thank you for the reply. I will post some pictures of future modifications. Good luck and send me some pictures too smile.gif

That's okay mate. Yes mate I will. My spire will look amazing after the new couple of weeks.
I'm adding some of my bodykit parts and making starts on paint and panel as well as the
beginning of the suspension upgrades. Thanks bud. I'll price some rio struts as they're
more chunkier and more solid and durable. Did changing the struts and springs out alter
the camber at all?

Yes it will add more camber, but not too much, I left it like that. Looks and drives well, and on the corners it drives like a gokart, and adds more grip

Brilliant! Alright well your spire looks great! Just add a bodykit now and you'll have something to
be featured. Do you have a build thread? Start one and I'll move it to the featured section.
I'm enjoying watching your progress!

Excellent and welcome to the featured section!

Hey guys, going on with this thread, does anyone also know if the KYB bumpstops for our
spires are identical to the 00,01,02 series Kia rio ones? Normally I'd ask Iceracerdude but
he's kinda like....vanished. I was window shoppin on the KYB website but all I see are the
struts and mounts. Hmmm. If I can get genuine KYB bumpstops then great! If not I wanna
know if the kia series will also be compatible.

Ta.
