Hello folks!

New to the forums here. I bought a '97 2-door Aspire just this month from up in (almost) Canada. I'm hoping to put it on the road, but there is a good-sized hole in the frame on the passenger side. (Within the front wheel well.) Does anyone know of a patch kit for this or of one similar that works? Thanks!

First off, welcome! Always great to see new members. smile.gif Now, is that hole through the
metal or just the body of the spire? Normally you can fix holes in the chassis with some
plate patch welding but if it's the actual body of the spire then I would suggest getting
some tin and riveting in there with a lot of sealant. Of course that's the backyard way of
doing it. Haha. Some pics will definitely help to determine the best course of action for a
solution. Ahhh the 97 2dr. I love it. I have one. My Glowspire's a 97 2dr.

It's through the chassis up front. I was thinking that welding plates would be the answer, but the person who's welder I'll be using wanted me to first check if there is an easy fix for it. I'll try to upload photos when I have a chance.

And thanks for the warm welcome!

No worries mate. Photos will definitely help. If it's only something minor then
it won't be an issue. Pix for the win. tongue.gif
